I purchased a pile of photography gear and negatives from a lady whose husband died in 1982. He was a very serious photographer and had started many camera clubs around New Zealand. This was one of the 120 negatives taken in the late 50's and developed in 1960. I have done a heap of work on this, the negatives are scratched and mouldy….but well worth doing. I like the fact that I do not feel like I have to take the picture…….its photography itself and the process I love so much…tis magic. And there are so many beautiful images dying slowly in cupboards and drawers........now lost to the world. As part of my own photography I learn so much from looking at these...........and giving them new life.

this will give a wider perspective on my mainly analogue and sometimes digital love affair with all things photography. I am often months behind what I am really doing on Aminus3 and I must confess to falling off the daily wagon for some time in 2017. You may find some articles I have written on Ipernity (and they are old too)but you may find interesting. I am enjoying trying to get back into Animus3 this year after that getting off the daily image treadmill time, which one can end up with one posting meaningless images just because you are addicted and want to be in that image number bracket.
